Evans Architectural Ltd were asked to design, secure planning permission and produce detailed technical drawings for new balconies to both the front and rear elevations which has uninterrupted views of Cardiff Bay to the front and Penarth Marina to the rear. Whilst being one of the smallest and simplest projects we’ve undertaken, the attention to detail and customer care is equal to that provided on larger projects. As with most of our work, a three-dimensional model was created which allows perspective views to be generated which aids with the visualisation of the proposals.
A key design feature of the front balcony was to be free from unsightly structural columns or brackets which meant we produced a design that allowed the balcony to cantilver from the existing structure creating a clean and contemporary look.
