The proposal for this project expands and improves on a previous flat roof extension and includes the demolition of an existing pre-fabricated garage to make room a new garden room with sliding doors that fully opens up to seamlessly integrate internal and external spaces. A number of designs were presented to the client which included variations in style from contemporary to traditional with various options for external finishes such as render, timber and charred timber.
The existing raised decking area is replaced with a new raised paved terrace which is level with the internal floor level to harmonise internal and external spaces. The final proposal incudes a small garage space for bikes, a new downstairs WC and revised kitchen and dining area. Although modest in size, this small extension is a cost-effective way of providing additional space.

We explore various layouts, options, finishes and styles and present them using three dimensional perspective views to assist the client to make important decisions on how the proposal will look. We use a variety of presentation styles from traditional plans and informal sketches to realistic CGI renders.
